GRADING: VG+, dark patina with some highlights, unusually thick flan, scarce
ORDER INFO: B1735, $18
Not very attractive, but with recognizable monogram of Anastasius. His scarce nummi are what is considered the last "Roman" bronze issues, prior to the 498 reform, which fundamentally changed (among other things) the appearance of non-precious metal coinage.
