Typical specimen of this crude issue and strike, which is nevertheless interesting for its epigraphy, which includes the legendary words spoken by Christ to St. Constantine on the eve of the decisive battle of the Milvian bridge in 312 AD, as well as the hopeful declaration of "revival". Both ushered the use of the more common Greek, hitherto absent on coinage, and pleaded for Divine grace and assistance in ongoing trials and tribulations of the empire, alluding to that extended to the current emperor's (nominally, also Constantine) famous namesake from centuries before.
