Scarcer type in a Syracusan series of Constans tracks his appearance progressing from beardless youth to a long-bearded effigy - here with a nice portrait of the "slight beard" version (associated with the year 647/8 AD, when Constans was age 17). Interesting overstrike (rather typically on SB 1103), where mainly partial legends are visible from the undercoin, but here with flipped sides, showing "[IMPER] CONST" on the reverse, and "[ANA] NEOS" on the obverse perimeter areas
