A charming and nicely preserved miniature silver fraction from the Archaic period. Both sides have unusual and rare designs, though the "lion stalking prey" appears on some other Carian fractions in conjuction with the more common profiled lion - a combination which was replicated by some Carian satraps in later, Hellenistic times.
