Rev: Zeus enthroned to left, holding scepter and eagle, Greek inscription: ALEXANDROU ("of Alexander"), "delta" in circle and monogram in left field

Early posthumous type of fine style from the Odessos mint, which is better known for its later rather crude looking issues. Unpublished reverse variety with the "delta" in circle and monogram in left field; the obverse is the same die as Price 1146 (even with the same minor die flaw above Alexander's eye as in another example of this die - see CNG 49/211).
