Interesting coin from the city founded by Alexander's general and successor in Thrace, Lysimachos. Apart from the uncertain obverse countermark, the obverse further seems to be struck (at about a 90 degreee angle) over another head image, whose top and face can be discerned. Though the iconography implies again Herakles, it appears to be from a different die, and thus a genuine overstrike, rather than just a rotated double strike.
