Despite some surface problems, still an attractive large coin, featuring a nicely executed Athena (with the mythological "bonus" Pegasos on her helmet) on one side, and the scarce representation of the final scene of the showdown between the brave Persues and abominable Medusa. This type was issued by a few cities on the south shores of the Black Sea, in Pontos and Paphlagonia.
