Interesting reverse scene, with Nike in an unusually belligerent pose; typically shown in contexts beyond any carnage, as poses of driving triumphal quadrigas, crowning victorious monarchs or just plain with an innocuous palm branch, the goddess of victory is rendered here in a sacrificial act seldom seen on coinage regardless of the perpetrator.
