Very attractive specimen of a coin that could not be matched to anything in the numerous references consulted, though the clear reverse ethnic uniquely identifies its origin. The birthplace of Mithradates the Great, the locale had a relatively prolific mint in later Roman Imperial times, though less so during the Hellenistic era, and again - apparently none with the present design.
