The locale of this issue is certain, given the characteristic reverse motif and partial legend. The issuing Roman emperor could be, based on effigy (curly hair, bit longer beard) and partial obverse legend, either Verus or Sept. Severus, though the title formula ("autocrator") might be more appropriate for the earlier of the two. While other matches were not found in the references consulted, the sole candidate (though in lesser condition and apparently with no visible legend) comes from the Lindgren III volume, and is attributed to Verus (but note the associated comment there on reattributing a similar piece from Verus to Severus).
