Charming representation of bird. These small and usually crude pieces were used as anonymous city coinage during the 15th century, and their value with respect to silver coinage is unknown (and possibly variable). The denominational term "pulo" is a distant descendant of - the late Roman follis, which through Byzantine and later Arab and Tatar coinages (fals) came back to Russia.
